With the participation of 120 vessels, and sponsored by Audi and Mafre, began yesterday in Majorca the Copa del Rey, the largest regatta in the Mediterranean, in its 30th edition.
This sailing competition that begins in Palma de Mallorca has with 1200 sailors, including the Prince of Asturias, Don Felipe de Borbon (who won firstprize in 2005), in his boat “El Hispano”
For this event in Mallorca involved sailors from 16 countries, prominent among foreigners with more boats Germany (8), England (6,) Italy (16) and Russia (4)and USA (6), in addition to Spain with 58 teams.
