February in Mallorca

Winter is a season with many surprises in the island of Majorca. The almond trees, the most popular tree crop of Majorca, bloom during February creating an incredible flowery landscape in all the “Pla” (interior of the island).
In this “Pla” out of the beaches on mondane resorts , you can find manors and farmhouses exceptional for their unique setups, privacy and luxurious interiors.
These “fincas” (rural properties) are separated by dry walls hand made with stones taken from the fields and simply piled up without any cement.
Most of the houses maintained their traditional Mallorquin architecture with stone facades or Siena colour stucco with the typical Balearic shutters in windows and doors which give the rooms the warm, unique Mediterranean feeling.
